The Planter model has its origins in coffee, cotton and tobacco plantations in the time of the landowners and colonizers in Latin America in the century XIX. It is a light hat, with a wide brim, a round crown and narrow round dent on the outside of the top of the crown . Due to its design and practicality it has become popular in these last generations.
